Types of alcohol

啤酒 píjiǔ – beers

1. 生啤 shēngpí – draft beer
2. 罐裝 guànzhuāng – beer in a can
3. 瓶裝 píngzhuāng – beer in a bottle

調酒 tiáojiǔ – cocktails

1. 基酒 jījiǔ – base liquor 
2. 伏特加 fútèjiā – vodka
3. 威士忌 wēishìjì – whisky 
4. 琴酒 qínjiǔ – gin
5. 龍舌蘭 lóngshélán – tequila
6. 白蘭地 báilándì – brandy

純飲 chúnyǐn – “neat, straight”

1. 偏 piān – …ish, a little…, on the … side
   1. 偏苦 piān kǔ – a little bitter
   2. 偏酸 piān suān – a little sour
   3. 偏甜 piān tián – a little sweet
   4. 偏淡 piān dàn – a little light
2. 酒精濃度 jiǔjīng nóngdù – alcohol content 
3. 泡沫 pàomò – foam
   1. 綿密 miánmì – creamy

   1. 很重 / 很厚  hěn zhòng / hěn hòu – strong alcohol taste
   2. 很淡  hěn dàn – light or plain taste of alcohol

Stages of being drunk

1. 微醺 wéixūn – tipsy
2. 茫 “māng” – start feeling dizzy 
3. 醉  zuì – drunk
4. 喝到Kiang掉了 hē dào “kiang” diào le – start doing stupid things
5. 喝到斷片 hē dào duànpiàn – to have a blackout (from being drunk)
6. 吐 tù – throw up
7. 宿醉 sùzuì – hangover
